My favorite quote is from The Little Prince, "the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart." Often in the midst of our pain and struggle we react to circumstances with little or no thought. We allow ourselves to be directed by the world instead of identifying what we need and know in our heart. To identify what we need, know what our heart wants, and have a plan to follow is what therapy is all about. We must work through the pain to identify these things; accept that we deserve them, and develop a plan to achieve them.

My therapeutic approach values where you are and where you want to be. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and families through various life struggles and have focused on treating trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting issues, child/adolescent behavioral and mental health issues, and adults going through phase of life issues.

"There are far better things ahead than those we leave behind." C.S Lewis. If you are ready for your life to be different and you would like some help getting it there I would welcome the opportunity to go through that process with you. In the 20 years I have been in my profession I have worked in a variety of settings with adults, adolescents and children and have enjoyed every part of it equally. Each therapeutic relationship is different. I appreciate and value each dynamic with recognition of the unique opportunities they bring.

There are a variety of areas that I have had specialty training in and have focused on treating over the years. One of the areas has been trauma specific. I am a level II Certified Trauma Therapist as well as a Certified ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) therapist. I incorporate sensory, mind body work and talk therapy in most therapy sessions.

Because you are here, some part of you believes things can be better. That spark of hope can make all the difference. With six years of clinical experience and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I feel it is a privilege to support individuals through some of their most challenging times.

Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, my approach is rooted in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, blending these evidence-based techniques to fit what works for you. Throughout the therapeutic process, I aim to help individuals develop self-awareness, compassion, and shift unhelpful thought patterns.

My therapeutic philosophy is based on empathy, authenticity, and a holistic understanding of mental health. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or navigating major life transitions, I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

We often focus so much on becoming who we think others need us to be that we lose sight of ourselves and our own needs. Allowing yourself to be okay with not being okay is an important first step toward change and self-care. Our experiences and struggles may shape us, but they do not have to define us. At the end of each day, you still have the power to decide who you want to become. Start by focusing on small, achievable goals. Each step forward can create a sense of progress, purpose, and confidence.

I have worked with teenagers for a large amount of my career in school-based therapy as well as in private practice. I am accepting new patients from ages 13 through adulthood.

We all know that it is hard to reach out for help and this action should be more normalized in society. The first step is asking for help to accomplish internal acceptance.

Life can bring seasons of transition, uncertainty, loss, and growth that leave us searching for clarity and direction. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, questions of identity, career decisions, spiritual concerns, or simply feeling stuck, counseling can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself and move forward with confidence. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I believe that every person has inherent strengths and resilience, and my role is to help you identify and build upon those strengths.

I draw from person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches, while incorporating coaching and reflective practices when appropriate. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical strategies for change, and work toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and well-being.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can be fully yourself. Whether you are seeking healing, growth, clarity, or a renewed sense of purpose, I am honored to walk alongside you as you take the next steps in your journey.

If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy with me is a warm, compassionate space where children, teens, and adults can let go of the pressure and show up as their authentic selves. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, stress, relationship concerns, or life transitions, we’ll work together to build practical tools, strengthen connections, and grow your confidence. If you’re tired of holding everything together, therapy can be a gentle, judgment-free place to finally exhale, process at your own pace, and gain clarity about what comes next.

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.” — Brené Brown I strive to create a safe, compassionate space to feel understood, let go of judgment, and find your way forward. Together, we’ll slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and build clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

My approach integrates CBT, DBT, ACT, and client-centered therapy. I have specialized ADHD training across the lifespan and am pursuing my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential to help children process their experiences through play—their natural language. Wherever you are in your journey, I’ll meet you there and walk alongside you.
